This work without title by Jakob Zekveld was sold in the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2006. It achieved a price of EUR 3,120.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56 %. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jakob Zekveld; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Undertakers And The Angry One sold at auction in April 2011 with the realized price of EUR 3,500.00.
