Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings, which included the work Still Life Of Flowers In A Vase On A Marble Shelf by Jakob Bogdány. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,787.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jakob Bogdány achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Assembly Of Birds In A Parkland Landscape, Including A Blue Peacock, A Pair Of Domestic Crested Ducks, A Barbary Coast Duck, A Red Crested Cockatoo, A Yellow-Headed Amazonian Parrot, A Great Curassow, A White Muscovy Duck, An Australian King Parrot, Gu in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 580,800.00 (€ 476,

Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life Of Flowers In A Vase On A Marble Shelf von Jakob Bogdány zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.787,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jakob Bogdány erzielen.
