In May 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings, which included the work Still Life Of Flowers In A Vase On A Marble Shelf by Jakob Bogdány. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,787.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jakob Bogdány achieve. Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life Of Flowers In A Vase On A Marble Shelf von Jakob Bogdány zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.787,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jakob Bogdány erzielen.
