This work of art by Jakob Bogdány could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master Paintings Day Sale auction, the work A Still Life With A Sunflower, Hollyhocks, Lilies, Poppies, Honeysuckle And Other Flowers In A Sculpted Stone Vase On A Plinth Before A Classical Pavilion changed hands for GBP 53,300.00 (€ 72,425.66) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00.
