Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary African Art Online, which included the work Don't Talk of Others' Children, You Don't Know What Yours Will Be by Jak Katarikawe. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,785.00 (€ 2,129.13), 19% above the upper estimate. Other works by Jak Katarikawe have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 2,340.00 in June 2021 for the work Le Rêve Du Berger, Circa 1980.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Don't Talk of Others' Children, You Don't Know What Yours Will Be von Jak Katarikawe zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.785,00 (€ 2.129,13) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Jak Katarikawe haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.340,00 im Juni 2021 für die Arbeit Le Rêve Du Berger, Circa 1980 beobachtet.
