In April this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Modern art and design, which included the work Lying model, 1913, Paris by Jais Nielsen. The auction ended at the price of DKK 4,000.00 (€ 536.59), which exactly corresponded to the pre-set estimate of DKK 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jais Nielsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Liggende Model in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,102.01).
Zuschlag beim Schätzpreis
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Modern art and design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lying model, 1913, Paris von Jais Nielsen zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 4.000,00 (€ 536,59) entsprach exakt dem Schätzpreis von DKK 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jais Nielsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Liggende Model im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.102,01).
