This artwork by Jacques Truphemus achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in September 2006. In the Intérieurs auction, the work Le Port sold for EUR 10,200.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacques Truphemus - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Intérieur de café, Lyon l'été, which sold at auction in October 2021 for EUR 23,750.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacques Truphemus erzielte im September 2006 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Intérieurs wurde die Arbeit Le Port für EUR 10.200,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacques Truphemus mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Intérieur de café, Lyon l'été beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für EUR 23.750,00 versteigert wurde.
