However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacques Hupin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Grapes, peaches and pomegranates on a pewter platter by an oriental carpet, which sold at auction in April 2002 for GBP 30,550.00 (€ 49,429.10).
