Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sans titre by Jacques Germain was sold in the De l'avant-garde à nos jours auction at Bonhams in Paris in June last year. It achieved a price of EUR 6,120.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 22 %. Admittedly, works by Jacques Germain have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rue En Marche in March 2011 with an auction result of USD 53,125.00 (€ 37,456.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Jacques Germain wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion De l'avant-garde à nos jours bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 6.120,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 22 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacques Germain auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rue En Marche im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 53.125,00 (€ 37.456,81).
