Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Pouponne Zelinska Au Panier by Jacques-Émile Blanche for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,390.69). This price was achieved in the auction European Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques-Émile Blanche achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vaslav Nijinsky In 'Danse Siamoise' in October last year with an auction result of USD 2,700,000.00 (€ 2,717,938.39).
