Auction result fails to reach estimate
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Rivage-Visages-paysages”, 1990 by Jacques Doucet for DKK 1,400.00 (€ 187.81). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 2,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques Doucet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tauromachie Ou Toreador, 1953 in October 2011 with an auction result of EUR 198,810.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Rivage-Visages-paysages”, 1990 von Jacques Doucet für DKK 1.400,00 (€ 187,81) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacques Doucet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tauromachie Ou Toreador, 1953 im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 198.810,00.
