Auction result misses estimated price range

In the AT HOME - BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES AND WORKS OF ART auction, the work After the snow storm changed hands for GBP 358.50 (€ 536.64) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacques Deperthes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paysage de Bourgogne, which sold at auction in December 2012 for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,421.96).
