Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Bonhams held the auction La Révolution Surréaliste, which included the work Cafetière pour masochiste by Jacques Carelman. The price achieved of EUR 3,187.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Other works by Jacques Carelman have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2017 the work Nature morte aux guitares was auctioned for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,409.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion La Révolution Surréaliste durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cafetière pour masochiste von Jacques Carelman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.187,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Jacques Carelman konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2017 die Arbeit Nature morte aux guitares für GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.409,36) versteigert.
