Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2003 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper, which included the work A garden table laid for tea by Jacqueline Williams. The price achieved of GBP 705.00 (€ 1,012.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacqueline Williams - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Artist In Her Studio, which sold at auction in September 2006 for GBP 1,680.00 (€ 2,478.35).
