In July 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings, which included the work The Creation Of Eve by Jacopo Zanguidi. The result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,505.98) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacopo Zanguidi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Soldiers on horseback pursued by foot-soldiers in January 2000 with an auction result of USD 85,000.00 (€ 87,116.94).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juli 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Creation Of Eve von Jacopo Zanguidi zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.505,98) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacopo Zanguidi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Soldiers on horseback pursued by foot-soldiers im Januar 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 85.000,00 (€ 87.116,94).
