In October 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters, which included the work An Outdoor Scene With A Saint In Ecstatic Rapture, Surrounded By Devotees by Jacopo Alessandro Calvi. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,830.57), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacopo Alessandro Calvi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Electra And Orestes in April 2009 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,157.94).
