In the Master Paintings and Sculpture Day Sale auction, the work Portrait Of A Gentleman, Three-Quarter Length, Standing And Holding A Pair Of Gloves In His Right Hand, His Left Hand Resting On A Book, Before A Green Curtain changed hands for USD 68,750.00 (€ 56,301.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacopino del Conte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Saint Catherine Of Alexandria in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 701,000.00 (€ 519,259.26).
