Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jacobus van Liender could be acquired at Christies in New York in May 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part IV auction, the work An Italianate landscape with buildings near a river and a figure seated on a rock in the foreground changed hands for EUR 625.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacobus van Liender - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vue Du Village de Schalkwijk Dans la Province D'Utrecht, which sold at auction in June 2005 for EUR 2,160.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacobus van Liender konnte im Mai 2015 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part IV wechselte die Arbeit An Italianate landscape with buildings near a river and a figure seated on a rock in the foreground für EUR 625,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacobus van Liender mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vue Du Village de Schalkwijk Dans la Province D'Utrecht beobachtet, die im Juni 2005 für EUR 2.160,00 versteigert wurde.
