Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jacobus Storck could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale auction, the work Amsterdam, A View Of The Singel And Munttower, With Figures Crossing A Bridge And Swimming In The Foreground changed hands for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,937.19) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacobus Storck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Amsterdam, A View On The Overtoom in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 63,650.00 (€ 79,305.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacobus Storck konnte im Dezember 2012 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
