Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A view of the river Vecht with the castle Nijenrode by Jacobus Storck was sold in the Important Spring Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2017. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 250,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 280,000.00 (€ 29,052.67). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacobus Storck - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Amsterdam, A View On The Overtoom, which sold at auction in May 2012 for GBP 63,650.00 (€ 79,305.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A view of the river Vecht with the castle Nijenrode von Jacobus Storck wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 250.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 280.000,00 (€ 29.052,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacobus Storck mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Amsterdam, A View On The Overtoom beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für GBP 63.650,00 (€ 79.305,10) versteigert wurde.
