In September 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS INCL. COPIES AFTER OMPIX, which included the work Still life with flowers by Jacobus Doeser. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,057.50 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacobus Doeser achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A still life with white lillies in January 2001 with an auction result of NLG 44,650.00 (€ 19,537.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS INCL. COPIES AFTER OMPIX durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life with flowers von Jacobus Doeser zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.057,50 und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacobus Doeser erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A still life with white lillies im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 44.650,00 (€ 19.537,97).
