In September 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Online | Part I: Property from the SØR Rusche Collection | Part II: Property from Various Owners, which included the work The Deposition by Jacob Willemsz. de Wet. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,924.00), 31% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacob Willemsz. de Wet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Joseph Vendant Du Blé En Egypte, which sold at auction in September 2021 for EUR 20,800.00.

Im September 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Online | Part I: Property from the SØR Rusche Collection | Part II: Property from Various Owners durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Deposition von Jacob Willemsz. de Wet zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 5.924,00) und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacob Willemsz. de Wet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Joseph Vendant Du Blé En Egypte beobachtet, die im September 2021 für EUR 20.800,00 versteigert wurde.
