The price achieved of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,455.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Jacob van Geel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2021 the work Paysage Fantastique Aux Grands Arbres was auctioned for EUR 31,200.00.
