Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers In A Tall Jug by Jacob Kramer was sold in the 20th Century British & Irish Art auction at Sothebys in Olympia in March 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,120.00 (€ 4,592.28) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Jacob Kramer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Head Of A Young Woman in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 28,022.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers In A Tall Jug von Jacob Kramer wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion 20th Century British & Irish Art bei Sothebys in Olympia versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.120,00 (€ 4.592,28) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacob Kramer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Head Of A Young Woman im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 28.022,66).
