Auction result fails to reach estimate
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Fantastic fish/Catfish” made of carved driftwood by Jacob Hermann for DKK 3,000.00 (€ 402.21). This price was achieved in the auction {} at Bruun Rasmussen in Modern art and design and was even lower than the DKK 6,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Other works by Jacob Hermann have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April this year by the work Wolf at DKK 5,500.00 (€ 737.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Fantastic fish/Catfish” made of carved driftwood von Jacob Hermann für DKK 3.000,00 (€ 402,21) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion {} bei Bruun Rasmussen in Modern art and design erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 6.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Jacob Hermann wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April diesen Jahres die Arbeit Wolf mit DKK 5.500,00 (€ 737,82).
