The work Four Foot Soldiers playing Dice by Jacob Binck was sold in the Old Master Prints auction at Christies in New York in January 2019. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,400.91), 53% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Binck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bathsheba at the Bath in January 2021 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,271.53).

Die Arbeit Four Foot Soldiers playing Dice von Jacob Binck wurde im Januar 2019 in der Auktion Old Master Prints bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.400,91) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Binck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bathsheba at the Bath im Januar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.271,53).
