Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2015 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Jack Youngerman for USD 375.00 (€ 334.91). This price was achieved in the auction Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jack Youngerman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work August, 1966 in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 93,825.00 (€ 84,155.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2015 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jack Youngerman für USD 375,00 (€ 334,91) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jack Youngerman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit August, 1966 im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.825,00 (€ 84.155,53).
