Auction result well in line with expectations
The work House And Trees by Jack Simcock was sold in the TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART auction at Christies in London in December 2003. The price achieved of GBP 152.75 (€ 216.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25.00 – 200.00. Admittedly, works by Jack Simcock have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cottages in May 2006 with an auction result of GBP 660.00 (€ 963.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit House And Trees von Jack Simcock wurde im Dezember 2003 in der Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 152,75 (€ 216,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25,00 – 200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jack Simcock auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cottages im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 660,00 (€ 963,39).
