In July 2013 Christies in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Moorings 2 by Jack Pender. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,500.00 (€ 5,142.03), 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jack Pender; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Adrift 3 sold at auction in November 2006 with the realized price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,910.19).

Im Juli 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Moorings 2 von Jack Pender zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.500,00 (€ 5.142,03) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jack Pender; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Adrift 3 im November 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.910,19).
