In May 2002 Christies in London held the auction THE IRISH SALE, which included the work Southern Ireland, British Railways by Jack Merriott. Other works by Jack Merriott have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,673.00 (€ 2,510.12) in May 2004 for the work Southern Ireland.
