The work Zig-Zag by Jack Lembeck was sold in the THE HOUSE SALEALL LOTS OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE auction at Christies in New York in December 2004. The price achieved of USD 1,015.75 (€ 750.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Zig-Zag is the most expensive artwork by Jack Lembeck that we have observed at auctions so far.
