Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The old fish market by Jane Vivian was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 660.00 (€ 957.08). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jane Vivian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Barges and gondolas on the Grand Canal, Venice in November 2003 with an auction result of GBP 17,625.00 (€ 25,300.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The old fish market von Jane Vivian kam im Februar 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 660,00 (€ 957,08) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jane Vivian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Barges and gondolas on the Grand Canal, Venice im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.625,00 (€ 25.300,95).
