Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Street Scene, Verona by James Vivien de Fleury was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in May 2007. The price achieved of GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,119.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Vivien de Fleury - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'Isola Bella on Lake Maggiore; and Lake Maggiore, which sold at auction in June 2002 for GBP 5,287.50 (€ 8,178.57).

Die Arbeit Street Scene, Verona von James Vivien de Fleury kam im Mai 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.119,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von James Vivien de Fleury mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'Isola Bella on Lake Maggiore; and Lake Maggiore beobachtet, die im Juni 2002 für GBP 5.287,50 (€ 8.178,57) versteigert wurde.
