In February last year Bonhams in London held the auction 19th and 20th Century Vintage Posters, which included the work Travel In Comfort By Malayan Railway by J. R. Charton. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 956.25 (€ 1,143.26), 37% above the upper estimate. Other works by J. R. Charton have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,083.75 (€ 1,236.16) in February this year for the work Travel In Confort By Malayan Railway.

Im Februar letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion 19th and 20th Century Vintage Posters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Travel In Comfort By Malayan Railway von J. R. Charton zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 956,25 (€ 1.143,26) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von J. R.
