Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,711.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by J. Jaunbersin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Alexander Hall, The Winter Palace, St. Petersburg, which sold at auction in November 2005 for GBP 48,000.00 (€ 70,518.07).
