The work A Solid Team by J. Espiennes was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2007. It changed hands for a price of USD 67,000.00 (€ 45,615.47) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by J. Espiennes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Draft Horse, which sold at auction in November 2007 for USD 145,000.00 (€ 98,720.04).
