Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 'The Lark' by Joseph Edward Worrall was sold in the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction at Christies in London in August 2002. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 646.25 (€ 1,019.92). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Edward Worrall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three-a-penny in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 20,250.00 (€ 23,788.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 'The Lark' von Joseph Edward Worrall wurde im August 2002 in der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 646,25 (€ 1.019,92) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Edward Worrall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Three-a-penny im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.250,00 (€ 23.788,53).
