Auction result fails to reach estimate
In November 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Photo De La Page 147 Du Livre " Le Cirque D'Izis", 1959 by Izis for EUR 1,800.00. This price was achieved in the auction 60 photos pour que vivent les déserts at Artcurial in Paris and was even lower than the EUR 2,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Izis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 1Er Mai, Place Victor-Basch, Paris, 1950 in November 2013 with an auction result of EUR 8,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im November 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Photo De La Page 147 Du Livre " Le Cirque D'Izis", 1959 von Izis für EUR 1.800,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 60 photos pour que vivent les déserts bei Artcurial in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von EUR 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Izis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 1Er Mai, Place Victor-Basch, Paris, 1950 im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.750,00.
