In November 2005 Christies in London held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART, which included the work Study of Soldier In Full Kit by Ivor Roberts-Jones. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 780.00 (€ 1,145.92), 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivor Roberts-Jones achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maquette for the Winston Churchill Monument in Parliament Square in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 145,250.00 (€ 173,573.53).

Im November 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study of Soldier In Full Kit von Ivor Roberts-Jones zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 780,00 (€ 1.145,92) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ivor Roberts-Jones erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Maquette for the Winston Churchill Monument in Parliament Square im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 145.250,00 (€ 173.573,53).
