Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bird of Prey by Ivor Roberts-Jones was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2005. The price achieved of GBP 264.00 (€ 387.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivor Roberts-Jones achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maquette for the Winston Churchill Monument in Parliament Square in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 145,250.00 (€ 173,573.53).

Die Arbeit Bird of Prey von Ivor Roberts-Jones kam im November 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 264,00 (€ 387,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ivor Roberts-Jones erzielen.
