Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2006 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction Russian, which included the work Student Of The Art History Faculty by Ivan Ivanov-Sakachev. The price achieved of GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,209.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ivan Ivanov-Sakachev - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red stockings, which sold at auction in December 2006 for GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,576.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2006 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion Russian durch, in der auch die Arbeit Student Of The Art History Faculty von Ivan Ivanov-Sakachev zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.209,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ivan Ivanov-Sakachev mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red stockings beobachtet, die im Dezember 2006 für GBP 7.800,00 (€ 11.576,18) versteigert wurde.
