Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "From Lidingö island" (Från Lidingön) by Ivan Ivarson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 200,000.00 – 250,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 160,000.00 (€ 15,300.51). Admittedly, works by Ivan Ivarson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Skymning" (Twilight) in May 2011 with an auction result of SEK 1,000,000.00 (€ 112,548.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "From Lidingö island" (Från Lidingön) von Ivan Ivarson im Juni 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 200.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 160.000,00 (€ 15.300,51) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ivan Ivarson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Skymning" (Twilight) im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.000.000,00 (€ 112.548,69).
