A top price for Iván Grünewald - as previously expected
The work Birds by Iván Grünewald was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020. The result of SEK 10,000.00 (€ 956.28) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 10,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Birds is the most expensive artwork by Iván Grünewald that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Birds von Iván Grünewald wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 10.000,00 (€ 956,28) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Birds das teuerste Kunstwerk von Iván Grünewald, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
