Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Snowy Sunset by Ivan Fedorovich Choultsé was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 100,800.00 (€ 112,602.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ivan Fedorovich Choultsé - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Soir à Capri (Italie)., which sold at auction in September 2015 for CHF 336,500.00 (€ 308,463.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Snowy Sunset von Ivan Fedorovich Choultsé wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 100.800,00 (€ 112.602,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ivan Fedorovich Choultsé mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Soir à Capri (Italie). beobachtet, die im September 2015 für CHF 336.500,00 (€ 308.463,36) versteigert wurde.
