The work Janvier (Engadine) by Ivan Fedorovich Choultsé was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 103,249.38), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ivan Fedorovich Choultsé - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Soir à Capri (Italie)., which sold at auction in September 2015 for CHF 336,500.00 (€ 308,463.36).

Die Arbeit Janvier (Engadine) von Ivan Fedorovich Choultsé wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 103.249,38) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ivan Fedorovich Choultsé mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Soir à Capri (Italie). beobachtet, die im September 2015 für CHF 336.500,00 (€ 308.463,36) versteigert wurde.
