It achieved a price of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,478.94), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Ivan Fedorovich Choultsé have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Soir à Capri (Italie). in September 2015 with an auction result of CHF 336,500.00 (€ 308,463.36).
