A top price for István Nádler - as previously expected
In June 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary East, which included the work Hungarian untitled by István Nádler. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,003.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Hungarian untitled is the most expensive artwork by István Nádler that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hungarian untitled von István Nádler zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.003,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Hungarian untitled das teuerste Kunstwerk von István Nádler, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
