In August 2019 Christies in London held the auction Art from Within: Staff Show, which included the work Just Wing It by Isobel Macdonald-Jackson. The result of GBP 100.00 (€ 110.71) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 100.00 – 200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Isobel Macdonald-Jackson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Agaricus, which sold at auction in August 2019 for GBP 300.00 (€ 332.13).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im August 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Art from Within: Staff Show durch, in der auch die Arbeit Just Wing It von Isobel Macdonald-Jackson zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 100,00 (€ 110,71) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 100,00 – 200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Isobel Macdonald-Jackson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Agaricus beobachtet, die im August 2019 für GBP 300,00 (€ 332,13) versteigert wurde.
