In April 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Work 62-1 by Yukihisa Isobe. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,754.47), 39% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yukihisa Isobe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Work' 62-21, which sold at auction in December 2016 for EUR 35,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Work 62-1 von Yukihisa Isobe zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.754,47) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Yukihisa Isobe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Work' 62-21 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für EUR 35.000,00 versteigert wurde.
