Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February last year Bonhams in London held the auction Middle Eastern Art Online Sale, which included the work Untitled (Seated Man) by Ismail Fattah. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,012.50 (€ 8,383.89), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ismail Fattah achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 173,000.00 (€ 156,674.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Seated Man) von Ismail Fattah zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.012,50 (€ 8.383,89) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ismail Fattah erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 173.000,00 (€ 156.674,52).
