Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Man & Woman by Ismail Fattah was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction at Bonhams in London in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 16,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 16,640.00 (€ 19,360.75). Admittedly, works by Ismail Fattah have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 173,000.00 (€ 156,674.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Man & Woman von Ismail Fattah wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 16.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 16.640,00 (€ 19.360,75) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ismail Fattah auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 173.000,00 (€ 156.674,52).
